It's rather wonderful giving (and getting) Christmas presents after Christmas when all the hullabaloo has died down and children's excitement levels are not ramped up quite so highly. 

We also went to an amazing park that had outside gym equipment. Great fun. They're the red kind and so sweet you can eat them raw. What's just amazed me though is that popping one in my mouth instantly brings back memories of childhood summers.
